I had a weird day-dreamy vision type thing that felt and went like this:

When you strike a tuning fork it vibrates. Not only can you hear the sound of the note but you can also feel the vibration. You can feel it in the air around the tuning fork and even in your body. And the different notes feel distinctly different.

People are kinda like tuning forks. We have our own vibration, or note frequency. You can feel peoples’ energy or vibration – and you may or may not like what you feel (or hear).

And if those notes (and people) were songs, the fact would remain that we all like different types of music. BUT there are some songs that are just so catchy that everybody loves them! Sometimes a song comes on the radio and it just ruins your vibe so you switch the station. Or a catchy tune just came on so you turn up the volume. Like when a stranger walks in the room and for whatever reason they just ruin your vibe – you wish you could switch the station. Or someone else walks in the room and fills it with light and you feel great!

Now. I know these analogies are simple. There’s a lot they don’t cover. But they’re a great intro when you’re trying to explain some fundamentals. Fundamentals can be built on right?

The cool thing about the tuning fork analogy is that you really can feel the vibration of a tuning fork and you really can feel different peoples’ vibration and energy.

So stop and feel what you’re feeling once in a while. Compare how you feel around different people or in different places. What do you notice?

Love and light x
